Brereton Lake, Congleton, Cheshire

Brereton Lake is extremely dog friendly. Brereton has a car park, wheelchair access, usually an ice cream van (helpful on hot summer days), picnic benches and toilets/changing rooms!

It’s a lovely mixture of fields, woodland and lake! I love walking here as it’s situated in a natural reserve so packed full of wildlife. The reserve showcases lots of butterflies, dragonflies, wild birds and lizards. There is a bridle path that runs past the lake so you often see horses trotting past! Plus a hide is provided so you can have a chilled couple of hours birdwatching. Perfect place to enjoy nature and give your doggy the most exciting walks. As its so dog friendly I can guarantee my dogs will make a lot of new friends every time we go.
