Rhossili Gower Coast, South Wales
Rhossili Gower Coast walks are magnificent and cover many different terrains. From coastal strolls to ambles through the woodlands! There is carpark available plus there are some toilet facilities that are kept nice and clean. There is also a coastguard station situated about 20 yards from the carpark. If you walk along the cliff top towards the lookout station, at low tide walkers can cross to Worms Head! Be wary though there is only a two hour turnaround before the causeway is submerged in water! Famously Welsh poet Dylan Thomas fell victim to the tide.
The views from the cliff top can’t fully be explained in words. It’s something that has to be experienced to be fully appreciated. On a clear bright summer day, walkers are greeted with bright blue water and golden sand for as far as the eye can see. It’s absolute heaven to witness. Plus on stormy blustery days walkers at the lookout station can be witness to the power of the sea! Dogs are best kept on leads due sheer cliff edges but this doesn’t stop them loving every minute of a Rhossili Gower Coast walk! The walks that are closer to the beach are just as picturesque and as enjoyable. These walks are so much fun for dogs and humans alike! The beautiful sights you take in will stay with you forever.
