Newlands Corner, Surrey

It’s a local beauty spot and is protected by the Wildlife Trust. There is plenty of parking available including priority spots for disabled users. Plus there are toilet facilities and a delightful café where they serve a variety of hot and cold food! The Wildlife Trust actually have a building there where you can see all the wonderful work that they do. So it’s a fantastic place to get educated on British Wildlife.

We love our weekend walks at Newlands corner! We go in rain or shine because the views are simply breath-taking! There are lots of different walks you can take as well as a large open hill which is great for playing fetch. My dog Luna is a herding dog so this is definitely her favourite part of the walk. To keep cool in the summer we explore the woodland and see what wildlife we can spot. After a long walk we treat ourselves to burgers and chips at the café whilst Luna has a drink. Luna particularly enjoys this as all the staff and visitors want to give her a cuddle! That’s not all Newlands Corner has to offer though. My partner’s favourite part is the motorcycle meets that happen most weekends! This truly is a brilliant walk with beautiful landscapes and excellent food.
