Harrold-Odell Country Park, Bedfordshire

A family friendly and dog friendly country park in Bedfordshire. You can follow the paths around two lakes, and there are plenty of wooded and field areas (some with livestock, some without) to explore. There are areas where dogs can be on and off the lead, and there are always lots of four legged friends to meet and socialise with.

Plenty of places to picnic, with lots of tables dotted around and there is a cafe where dogs are allowed to sit outside. Along the way, there are dog waste bins available with free poo bags should you forget. On the notice boards around the park, there maybe be notices warning you not to allow your dog to swim in the lake if there is green and blue algae present. Lots of spots to admire the gorgeous view across the lake.

Depending on the route, this walk takes between one and two hours to complete. Parking is free, but the park suggests a donation of £1, which can be paid in the Visitor Centre.
