Cley Hill, Wiltshire

On the outskirts of Longleat estate, this is a stunning area looked after by the National Trust. Known for its uninterrupted views of the sky and has locally become famous as a UFO Hotspot! This area is positively brimming with wild flowers and fascinating insect life. Plus this area is also incredibly significant for its geology and archaeology. Truly a remarkable place to walk.

Calm, quirky, and remote with little human interaction; this is the perfect place to be at one with nature and history with your four legged friends. The ground is ideal for dog-walking all year round as it never gets too muddy! So you don’t end up with a soggy, mud incrusted dog after every walk! I’ve also spotted lots of Buzzards flying around (so I keep a close eye on Frankie) but I’ve yet to spot any UFOs….

Nice little walk

A nice little walk with stunning views at the top. It's a pity there's dog owners leaving bags of pooh all over the place. It's almost better to not bag it if you're going to throw it on the ground.
