Witness the grand feat of Hadrian’s Wall in the south of the county, where tourists flock from near and far to see the structure, or wander along the fringes of the North Pennines for yet another stunning array of wildlife and glorious landscapes. Many of the beaches on Northumberland’s coast also welcome dogs for much of the year, so you can be guaranteed a furrnomenal escape with your furry friend if digging and splashing is what they love!
