Dartmoor

The Pod Terrace Hot Tub, Dartmoor

The craggy landscape of Dartmoor appeals to many a dog and their human, not least for the huge amounts of walkies on offer. Beautifully wild, the National Park is ideal for those seeking a little solitude and serenity, with plenty of outdoor pursuits to discover for those searching for an adrenaline rush too.

Picturesque towns and cosy country pubs create a patchwork of variety within rolling hills, where your dog will love sniffing out new places with you. There’s also many tors to discover on your adventures across the area, not least the aptly named Hound Tor, a deserted 13th century settlement with breath-taking views across the surrounding moors.

On the southern fringes of the National Park, the perfect romantic retreat awaits at The Pod Overlooking Dartmoor, where your very own private hot tub is sure to aid the relaxing vibe as you look up at the clear skies. If you’ve got a whole pack of pooches, Widecombe Longhouse welcomes three dogs, and is just a short wander away from Hound Tor.
