Pets Corner shortlisted for top award
6 November 2017
We’re delighted to announce that Pets Corner’s Horsham store has been shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Pet Retail Chain of the Year’ title in the Pet Industry Federation’s annual awards.
This is an award our branches have been proud to win for three years running, so to find ourselves on the shortlist again is a wonderful recognition of the hard work and commitment of all our fantastic staff.
Alexandra Baker of the PIF said: “We had a bumper number of entries this year, and the quality of the nominations was higher than ever. Appearing on the shortlist is a great achievement.”
Our Horsham store relocated to larger premises within the town earlier this year, and the move to the Guildford Road site has proved a resounding success.
The high-profile PIF awards dinner takes place on Tuesday 28th November, so we will be keeping everything crossed until then!
The Pet Industry Forum represents all sectors of the pet industry, including retailers, manufacturers, groomers and pet boarders. Members must agree to adhere to PIF charters, which set out best practice and strive to promote responsible pet ownership.
At Pets Corner, we pride ourselves on being different. We’ve been at the forefront of animal nutrition since 1968, promoting foods that are wholesome and natural and give pets everything they need for a long, healthy life.
Our experts live and breathe animal nutrition, and they classroom-train all our staff to ensure they’re equipped with the latest knowledge to offer advice in-store.
It’s a great thrill to know that our ethical approach has been recognised once again. We hope that Horsham will join Cheltenham, Warminster and Hednesford stores (who won in 2014, 2015 and 2016 respectively) in bringing home this much-coveted title. But whatever the outcome on the night, to have reached this stage is a terrific testimony to our company, reaffirming our commitment to our staff and of course to all our loyal customers.
