A Note From Our CEO, Dean, Regarding COVID-19

Published by Hollie Smith | 23 March 2020

Dear Customer,

Sadly, despite being allowed to trade as an essential retailer, some of our stores have had to close in our garden centre locations. We are trying to get them reopened and are in discussions with our landlords regarding this. We have also made some changes to opening hours to help our staff manage the day better and give them time to shop for themselves.  You can find the latest stores open in your area and opening times HERE.

All of our stores that have remained open are thoroughly cleaning touch points regularly and staff are instructed to wash hands hourly.  Stores have also implemented further precautionary measures to incorporate social distancing measures. We expect our staff and customers to follow some simple rules which are shown in information posters around the store and thank you for your help with this.

We have launched a Home Help service, to ensure vulnerable and elderly customers, who don't have access to the internet, have access to their pets essentials. Customers can call their local store to place an order, pay over the phone and our store staff will deliver their order. To find out more about this service click HERE.

We have had a lot of communication from customers thanking us for keeping going and we will endeavour to do this to the best of ability whilst supporting our staff.  We sincerely appreciate your patience and loyalty during these uncertain times.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and wish you and your families well.

Best Wishes,

Dean Richmond
